As we mentioned in a recent blog post, home sales in the gated community of Fusion South Bay was close to an all time low. There were only 7 homes sold during the year that was up 1 from the all time lowe in 2023 but that’s not saying much. The low number of home sales wasn’t due to lack of demand but lack of inventory according to Fusion real estate specialist Keith Kyle. The few homes that hit the market sold quickly. There just were not many homes for sale.
That said the home prices continued to go up (keep in mind that very few sales means each sale impacts the median and average numbers more dramatically). The median sold price was $1,000,000 which is the highest it’s ever been.
Average home price for the 7 homes that sold was $969,143 for 2024.
