Welcome to the month that was for home sales in the city of Hawthorne California.    Take a look below at the homes, townhomes and condos that sold in the South Bay city of Hawthorne during the first month 2022.

January was a bit of a down month for closed home sales  with only 15 on MLS homes closing escrow during the month but sold prices were impressive for sure.

The average “list” price was $901,407 with the average sold price at $928,900 meaning that, in general, homes sold well higher than the list price. The average price per foot was $669 and median days on market was 28.

Unfortunately none of the home sales were in Fusion South Bay but there are currently two homes for sale in the gated community.

It’s been a promising week with two new listings in Fusion South Bay.  The first to hit the market is 5405 W 149th Place Unit #12 priced at $1,039,000 and theFusion South Bay townhomes for sale in Hawthorne latest listing is a corner unit D floorplan at 5402 W 149th Place Unit#17.   The D floorplan has a very nice living level with a fairly spacious living room that opens to the dining area and large kitchen.  One of the biggest challenges to this layout is that the “guest” bath which services both the living level and one of the upstairs bedrooms is actually on the middle landing of the stairs between the two levels so it’s somewhat unusual but certainly works.  Both bedrooms are upstairs with the guest bedroom using the bathroom below as mentioned.

As with all condos and townhomes in Fusion, the home has central A/C and is part of the award winning Wiseburn School District.

New 3 Bedroom G Floorplan Hits the Fusion Market at 5405 W 149th Place Unit#12

It’s been a promising week with two new listings in Fusion South Bay.  The first to hit the market is 5405 W 149th Place Unit#12 priced at $1,039,000.  This is a 3 bedroom G floorplan with a split level living area and all 3 bedrooms on the same level.  While the 3 bedroom J floorplan is popular with all spaces on one level, the G doesn’t have nearly as many stairs overall with the living room being on ground level.  The MLS info shows 1,410 square feet but original builder plans indicate over 1,500 square feet.  The home has 2 outdoor patios and a nice open kitchen area. As with all of the condos and townhomes in Fusion this home has A/C and is the award winning Wiseburn School District boundaries.

Home Sales in Hawthorne and Fusion in October

Take a look at the homes that sold in Hawthorne and the Prices they Sold ForCondos in Three Sixty South Bay

What a month it was for real estate in Hawthorne California and Fusion South Bay with 43 on market property sales closing in October in Hawthorne including 2 sales in Fusion.  The average “list” price was $837,828 with the average “sold” price at $854,422 meaning that homes generally sold higher than the asking price.  Median days on market was a very short 15 before going into escrow and the average price per foot was $619. See how this compares with other months on our Hawthorne California real estate statistics and trends page.  2 of the 43 homes that sold were in the the gated community of Fusion South Bay in Hollyglen, and another 2 in the resort like complex of Three Sixty   Of the two Fusion homes that sold one was a 3 bedroom at 5401 w 149th St #12 that sold for $980,000 and the other was a “C” floorplan at 5412 w 149th #1 that sold at $860,000.
