One of the things that makes Fusion so popular is that it’s located in the Hollyglen neighborhood of Hawthorne. This is the most sought after neighborhood in Hawthorne with it’s own school system and more. It’s always helpful to keep an eye out not just on Fusion home sales, but home sales and prices in the neighborhood as well.
It was another strong month for home sales in Hollyglen and Del Aire both in terms of the number of homes that sold as well the prices that they sold for. There were 7 homes that closed escrow during August with an average “asking” price was $1,057,571 and an average sales price of $1,057,857.That means that homes generally sold right at full price.
Of the 7 homes that sold last month, 1 was in Fusion South Bay. The 2 bedroom B layout unit at 5509 W 149th Place #8 sold for $860,000.

The previous record for this size unit was $844,000 and was the sale of an “A” floorplan back in 2022.
The home was in nice condition but was, by no means, the nicest or most updated unit we’ve seen so this was an impressive price indeed! The home was only on the market for 5 days before going into escrow. The home was listed by Paul Buller.
