One of the things that makes Fusion so popular is that it’s located in the Hollyglen neighborhood of Hawthorne.  This is the most sought after neighborhoodHawthorne homes for sale in Hawthorne with it’s own school system and more.  It’s always helpful to keep an eye out not just on Fusion home sales, but home sales and prices in the neighborhood as well.

It was another strong month for home sales in Hollyglen and Del Aire both in terms of the number of homes that sold as well the prices that they sold for.  There were 7 homes that closed escrow during August with an  average “asking” price was $1,057,571 and an average sales price of $1,057,857.That means that homes generally sold right at full price.

The average list price was an impressive $1,084,843 and the average sales price of the 7 homes was an even more impressive $1,092,571 meaning that, in general, homes sold above the list price.

One of the aspects that makes homes in Fusion South Bay so desirable is the neighborhood and the attendance in the Wiseburn School district.  Fusion sits in theHawthorne homes for sale highly sought after community of Hollyglen in the city of Hawthorne.  Take a look at the homes that sold in this charming area during the first month of 2021.  It was a pretty solid, although slower, month especially given that December is often a down month for homes going into escrow.  There were 9 homes sold during the month.  The median “list” price was $850,000 with the median “sold” price at $865,000 indicating a very solid “seller’s” market. The median price per foot of the homes that sold was $703. Of the 9 closed sales only one was in Fusion and was a  3 bedroom G floorplan that closed at $865,000 and two of the homes were in the gated community of 360 South Bay.
