As we mentioned in a recent blog post, home sales in the gated community of Fusion South Bay was at an all time low. We thought that 22 was historically slow with only 8 sales but that was proven outdated as 2023 saw only 6 homes sold in the year. Compare that to the biggest year of 2021 with 21 sold homes and you can see just how slow it is.
That said the home prices continued to go up and go up dramatically (keep in mind that very few sales means each sale impacts the median and average numbers more dramatically). The median sold price was almost $1,000,000 at $979,150 compared which was almost $100K higher than 2022 and $170,000 more than 2021.
Average home price for the 6 homes that sold was an immensly impressive $1,003,050 for 2023.
