Hawthorne Real Estate at a Glance – May Market Report

Welcome to the real estate recap for Hawthorne CA during this past month.   May was a big month for closed home sales in Hawthorne with 25 home sales  which was slightly down from the 27 home sales in April.

The median sales price was a very impressive $985,000 and,  in general, homes sold well higher than the list price. The average price per foot was $712 and average days on market was a very short 12 before going into escrow.   See also the current homes for sale in Hawthorne California.

Hollyglen and Del Aire Home Prices in April 2022

One of the aspectst that makes the gated community of Fusion South Bay so sought after is the fact that it’s in the neighborhood of Hollyglen and serviced byHawthorne real estate the award winning Wiseburn School District.  On that note it’s great to see what the rest of the Hollyglen/Del Aire real estate market is doing.  It was a great month for the real estate market of Hollyglen and Del Aire in the South Bay city of Hawthorne CA.   There were 13 closed sales during the month compared with 12 in March.

The average “asking” price was $1,107,615 with a median “sold” price of $1,182,154 meaning that most homes sold WAY above the asking price. The median price per foot was $868.

One of the home sales was a 2 bed 2 bath home in Fusion South Bay at 404 W 149th Pl # 11 that sold for a pretty stunning $844,000.

See the Homes That Sold in Hawthorne in March

Take a look at the home prices for the 31 home sales in March 2022

It was a big month for closed home sales in Hawthorne with 31 closed sales compared with only 24 in February.  Two of the 31 homes that sold were in Fusion with a 2 bedroom D townhome at 5402 w 149th Pl #17 closing at $889,000 (listed for $949,000) and a 3 bedroom home at 5405 w 149th #12 closing at an impressive $1,023,750 . The average “list” price was $864,481 with the average sold price at $918,987 meaning that, in general, homes sold well higher than the list price. Hawthorne Real Estate Market – September Recap

September was a great month for the Hawthorne CA real estate market.  There were 37 on market homes, townhomes and condos that sold during the month which was a slight drop from the 45 that sold in September 2020.  The  median price was  $790,000 for the homes that closed escrow and they averaged only 15 days on the market before going into escrow.  See how that compares with other months on our Hawthorne real estate trends and statistics page.

Fusion South Bay Home Sales a Big Part of The August Real Estate Market in Hawthorne
