2020 Starts off with Only One Active Fusion Home For Sale

As of 1/14 the market for homes in Fusion South Bay is once again very slow. Currently there is only one home actively for sale and it’s a bit surprising that it hasn’t sold yet. It’s an F floorplan which is generally pretty popular and it’s in one of the better locations in the community in terms of privacy as it looks out on the Federal building.  It’s priced just about right at $799,000 given that the last 3 sales of this floorplan closed at $790,000, $810,000, and $820,000.    It was originally priced at $809,000  and listed in early December. Like all homes in Fusion it offers A/C  and is located in the Wiseburn School District.

Happy 2021……Goodbye 2020!

Happy new year to our friends and clients in Fusion South Bay.  While it was a tough year for just about everything else, it was a great year for home sales and home prices in the South Bay’s premier gated community.  After a VERY slow first half of the year for home sales in Fusion, things really took off in the second half.

3 Bedroom G Floorplan Goes into Escrow

The G unit at 5514 149th Pl #12 just went into escrow after receiving multiple offers.  The home was in great condition with great light but did have a bit of a challenged location facing out onto Aviation Blvd.  The home was listed at $850,000 and went into escrow fairly quickly.  The G floorplan offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with a split level living room.

Highest Listing Inventory in a Long Time in Fusion South Bay

We’ve stated for years what an odd real estate market Fusion South Bay is. It doesn’t always seem to follow the guiding principles of supply and demand. There are times when there are no active homes for sale for months at at time and it would definitely seem that demand would be on the rise. Sometimes that’s the case and anything that hits the market gets sold quicky….and sometimes new inventory piles up as is the current case. What’s even stranger is that sometimes things sit and sit and then when one home sells…..there’s a rush on the others.

Having said that we seem to be at one of those moments when inventory (depsite high demand) of new homes on the market seems to keep piling up. At the moment there are 5 homes for sale and two of them are fairly rare 3 bedroom “J” floorplans. At the moment there is a variety of floorplans available and for buyers that have been watching and waiting….this may be your moment.
